Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce Endorses Mark for Congress

DeSaulnier adds to long list of support from Solano leaders

FAIRFIELD - The Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce has endorsed Mark DeSaulnier for Congress.  The Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce joins a long list of local elected officials and Solano County activists endorsing Mark DeSaulnier for Congress, including Solano County Supervisor Linda Seifert, Solano County Supervisor Jim Spering, Fairfield City Councilmember Rick Vaccaro, Fairfield City Councilmember Chuck Timm, Former Fairfield City Councilmember Jack Batson, and Solano County Democratic Central Committee member Dana Dean.

"We are proud to endorse State Senator Mark DeSaulnier for Congress," said Leslie Fay, Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce President and Chief Executive Officer.  "Mark has proven himself to be a strong advocate for working families and will make an excellent Congressman for CD 10.  His deep knowledge of local issues, including smart growth, transportation, and economic development will serve the people of CD 10 well.  Mark understands the need for quality and affordable health care and will fight for universal coverage in Washington.  Mark has represented the district as a Supervisor, Assemblyman, and Senator, and will continue to be an exceptional representative for the people of California's 10th District in Congress," Fay added.

The Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce seeks to sustain a productive and profitable business community and represents approximately 20,000 jobs from over 700 businesses.

DeSaulnier is a candidate for former Congresswoman Ellen Tauscher's seat in the 10th Congressional District.  Tauscher retired from Congress in June.
