Voters around the 10th Congressional District received the premiere issue of the Gazette, which highlights John Garamendi's refusal to run in his own Congressional district against right-wing Republican Dan Lungren in order to run in a district he doesn't live in and doesn't know against fellow Democrats.

DeSaulnier adds to long list of support from Solano leaders
FAIRFIELD - The Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce has endorsed Mark DeSaulnier for Congress. The Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce joins a long list of local elected officials and Solano County activists endorsing Mark DeSaulnier for Congress, including Solano County Supervisor Linda Seifert, Solano County Supervisor Jim Spering, Fairfield City Councilmember Rick Vaccaro, Fairfield City Councilmember Chuck Timm, Former Fairfield City Councilmember Jack Batson, and Solano County Democratic Central Committee member Dana Dean.
National Organization for Women Endorses Mark for Congress
DeSaulnier gains key endorsement from prominent women's rights organization
SACRAMENTO, CA - The National Organization for Women (NOW) has endorsed Mark DeSaulnier for Congress. NOW joins a long list of organizations in support of DeSaulnier for Congress, including the California League of Conservation Voters, the Sierra Club, and Peace Action West.
"On behalf of all of the members of the National Organization for Women, we are proud to endorse Mark DeSaulnier for Congress," National Organization for Women President and PAC Chair Terry O'Neill said. Mailer questions Garamendi's ability to stand up for the people of the 10th CD
WALNUT CREEK, CA - Today, the Mark DeSaulnier campaign released a direct mail piece sent to voters that calls into question John Garamendi's willingness to stand up for the citizens of the 10th CD. The mailer points out that Garamendi declined to run in his own Congressional district against a right-wing Republican in order to run in a district he doesn't live in and doesn't know against fellow Democrats. The mailer pointedly asks, "If John Garamendi can't stand up to Republicans in his own backyard, how can we expect him to stand up for us in Congress?"

DeSaulnier hosts town hall discussion of health reforms in Fairfield this Sunday
WALNUT CREEK - Senator and candidate for the 10th Congressional District Mark DeSaulnier hosts the fourth town hall in a series of Congressional District 10 town halls to discuss President Obama's health care reform plan. Without a sitting Congressperson in Congressional District 10, Senator DeSaulnier is hosting health care town halls so CD 10 residents have the opportunity to become more informed about President Obama's health care plan and ask questions about how the plan will affect the people of CD 10. DeSaulnier will discuss President Obama's current health care plan and how DeSaulnier will fight for increased access and quality of treatment for all in CD 10.
